The Accident

"Mengele!" A voice called. Josef was laying on a medical bed sleeping. "Mengele!" The voice yelled louder. Josef woke right up and tried sitting up. A shot of pain ran down his right leg. "No, no, lay down," the voice stated. The lights turned on to find Hoess standing by the door. "Where am I?" Josef asked then looked around the room. "Why am I here?" He yelled. The heart monitor ran faster. "You broke your hip. Nasty bike accident, I heard," Hoess chuckled. "Bike accident? What do you mean?" Josef was frantic. Josef was sitting at his desk half asleep, his hip still hurting from the motorcycle accident a few days before. The wind whistled past the windows. Suddenly, the sirens went off, an escapee. Josef shot straight up. "He jumped the barbed wire!", a shout came from down the hall. "MENGELE!" a voice called. Josef ran out of his office and saw Hoess standing with his armed crossed, a lantern in his hands. "You able to get him?" he asked. Josef nodded, "Yes, I am." Hoess chuckled," You sure, that was a nasty accident,
