The House of Fears chapter 5

   "Okay", José nodded, then sat at an empty seat. He picked up a menu. "So, what do you mean the area around my house is haunted?" He asked, reading each entree. "We did a little looking awound. So faw, all we know is that somebody managed to die in the house", Hermann answered. "Isn't that almost every old house?" José smirked. "Sorta....?" Joey tilted his head. Heinrich rolled his eyes. "Dude, you just gotta be careful. We will continue looking into your new place.... but you gotta tell us what kinda crazy stuff is going on," He stated. A waiter came up with plates of pancakes and eggs, then looked at José. "I hope they're splitting the bill," he sighed, then asked," What would you like?" "Just a coffee and an egg.... scrambled, please..." José answered. The waiter handed out the food, nodded, and walked off.
     "So, anyway... How was your first night there?" Wilhelm asked between mouthfuls. "Not too bad. It was comfortable. The only issue is that the closet is a bit creepy," José smiled. "That's good to hear, but what do you mean the closet is creepy?" Heinrich tilted his head. "It creaks open and closed.... nothing that isn't out of the ordinary, though," José answered, "It just creeps me out." "Well, it would, you don't like closets," Heinrich snickered. The waiter returned with José's coffee and eggs.
     "Thank you," José smiled, then turned to Heinrich," Shut up!" "You know it is true," Heinrich laughed, then pushed his slipping glasses back into place. "I know, but that doesn't mean... never mind..." José rolled his eyes, then took a sip of his coffee. He looked at Wilhelm, then Hermann. "You guys are hiding something from me... how bad is this 'haunting' that you are talking about?" He pushed. "Don't wowy about it," Hermann smiled, then finished his last bite. José lost his appetite at that point. He put one of his napkins in his unfinished plate and stood up. "I thank you guys, but I gotta get back and finish what I was doing," he stated, then left.
